Standards Check Workshop.
Earlier in the week, Tom and me attended a
Standards Check Workshop, that was held just outside Gloucester. The
workshop was run by Blaine and Louise Walsh, who are well known in the
driver training industry and offer updates and training to driving
instructors. We attended because things change, sometimes quickly, and
we wanted to be sure we are up to date with everything. It was a very
good day, and we have come away with the latest techniques that are
being looked for by the DVSA. New information is always out there, you
just have to go and find it. The requirements for driver training have
changed beyond recognition since I started and it's good to stay up to
date.
