November 2015 at Gloucester Driving Test Centre. Her driving instructor, Nick Butters, of John

Having recently passed her driving test, Monica Constantinescu, took up the offer of a
2 hour motorway session with her driving instructor, Nick Butters, to include all the main aspects of this type of
driving. Monica also took the opportunity to get more acquainted with
her first car. It was a very successful session and Monica now feels confident to use the motorway unaccompanied.
"My driving instructor, Martyn Brewer,
has just introduced me to the subject of roundabouts, something that
always looked pretty confusing. His explanations about approach speed,
where to look, who has priority, and danger zones has made it all a lot
clearer, and I'm a lot more confident now. Martyn kind of drew the
information out of me and I realised that I knew a lot of the way roundabouts
work, without realising it, and this has helped a lot. We are both
Liverpool fans and that adds something we have in common, to very
enjoyable driving lessons."

Congratulations to Aati Patel who passed her driving test on 10th

A vote has been taken
by Driving Test Examiners to take a two day strike action in a dispute over working
hours.The dates for this strike action are Thursday 19th and Friday
20th November 2015. This will obviously do absolutely nothing to ease the excessive waiting lists at a lot of driving test centres, but that is not the fault of the ordinary examiners. We can only hope that a reasonable agreement can be reached and all get back to normal.
